The short versionWe collect what we need to make your films and run your account: your email, what you upload, what you make, and what you buy. We don't sell it and we don't train our own models on it.Other companies do parts of the work — hosting, the AI models, payments, email — and see only what they need for their part. You can download everything we hold about you, or delete your account, from settings, without asking anyone.
1. What we collectAccount: your email address, display name, and either a hashed password or the identifier Google or Apple gives us when you sign in with them. We never see your Google or Apple password.Your work: the photos, documents, links and notes you add to a brand; the brand profile we generate from them; briefs, storyboards, your messages to the Director; the films you render and the settings you chose.Workspaces: which workspaces you belong to, your role, any spend limit, and who invited whom.Payments: which packs you bought, when, for how much, and your credit history. Card details go straight to Stripe or Apple — we never receive or store your card number.Technical: IP address, browser or device type, error reports, and logs of requests to our servers. If you turn on push notifications, a push token for your device. If you use Snoobl without an account, we keep an anonymous session identifier so your work is still there when you come back, and so it can move into your account when you sign in.
2. What we use it forTo provide the service: analysing your context, writing storyboards, rendering and storing films, taking payment, and showing teammates the workspace you share. To keep it safe and working: checking briefs and prompts against our content rules, preventing fraud and abuse, fixing bugs, and measuring what breaks. To talk to you: sign-in links, receipts, invitations, and — unless you switch them off in settings — a note when a render finishes or fails. We don't send marketing email unless you ask for it.Under EU and UK law, our grounds are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing the service, legal obligations (such as tax records), and your consent where we ask for it (for example, showing a film on the showcase).
3. Who else handles your dataWe use these providers, each only for its part of the job: Amazon Web Services (hosting, database, file storage and sending email via Amazon SES, in Frankfurt, Germany); OpenAI (reads your context and brief to write brand profiles and storyboards, and screens text for safety); fal.ai (receives the storyboard prompt and your reference images to render and edit video); Stripe and Apple (payments); Sentry (error reports); Expo (delivering push notifications and app updates); and Google or Apple if you choose to sign in with them. Some of these providers are in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA or UK we rely on the safeguards the law provides, such as standard contractual clauses. We don't sell your personal data or share it for advertising. We'd disclose it if the law compelled us to, or to a successor if Snoobl were ever acquired — who would be bound by this policy.
4. What other people can seePeople in a workspace with you can see that workspace's brands, projects and films, your name and email, and what you've spent there. Nobody outside it can, unless you do one of two things: create a public share link for a film (anyone with the link can watch it until you revoke it), or opt a film into the showcase (it's shown publicly and its brief and storyboard can be remixed by anyone, until you opt out).
5. AI trainingWe don't use your uploads, briefs or films to train our own AI models. The AI providers above process your content to return a result to us, under their own terms for business customers.
6. How long we keep itAs long as you keep it. Films, brands and projects stay until you delete them or your account. Deleting your account removes your personal workspace, everything in it and your login; in workspaces you shared with others, the team's work stays but your name comes off it.A few things outlive deletion for a limited time: backups and server logs that expire on their own, and purchase records we're legally required to keep for tax and accounting.
7. Your rightsYou can see, export, correct and delete your data yourself: Settings → Profile has an export of everything we hold about you and a delete-account button. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent you gave.If something isn't self-serve, or you think we've got this wrong, email hello@snoobl.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies and local storageWe use only what the product needs: cookies that keep you signed in, one that remembers your anonymous session before you have an account, and one for your active workspace. Your browser or device also remembers preferences like theme, language and banners you've dismissed. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
9. SecurityTraffic is encrypted in transit, files are stored privately and served through short-lived signed links, passwords and API keys are stored hashed, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we'll tell you.
10. ChildrenSnoobl isn't for children. You must be 18 or over to have an account, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
11. Changes and contactIf we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email first. The English version is the one that counts; translations are for convenience.Snoobl is the controller of the data described here. Reach us at hello@snoobl.com.
